Jon Peters is a father, friend, former baseball player, and national record holder. He made history in 1989 when he broke the national high school record for the most consecutive wins (53) by a high school pitcher. He is the first high school baseball player to grace the cover of Sports Illustrated.
Following high school, Jon attended Texas A&M University on a baseball scholarship. He is the American dream that many young baseball players aspire to be. After enduring four arm surgeries and months of rehabilitation, he gave up his dream of pitching. It was at this time he was forced to face the hard truth: he had lived a life of strength on the outside, but internally he was falling apart.
Despite living out his childhood dream to which many would envy, a day never went by that Jon felt he had found his place in this world. Having lived through rejection, depression, thoughts of suicide, anxiety, self medication, and self-limiting beliefs, Jon understands the pressures students are facing today.
He has endured a lifetime, internal struggle to hide his truth and has overcome it by finding his voice. From feelings of not being good enough and not fitting in to feelings of wanting life to end, Jon is an overcomer who knows how to climb back up the mountain.
He has dedicated his life to helping people succeed and breakthrough obstacles and challenges. He has helped many who have struggled with addictions, many of who have struggled with suicidal thoughts, many of who have lost their identity, many who have self-limiting beliefs, and many who have lost their sense of purpose.
In 2018, he released his first book, When Life Grabs You by the Baseballs: Finding Happiness in Life’s Changeups, that obtained #1 New Release in Baseball Biographies on Amazon. His passion to serve and help others achieve their best is displayed through his energetic, positive, and contagious personality.
He is well-known for his unique ability to connect with the hearts of people as he shares his struggles and challenges he has overcome in a real, genuine, and authentic way. Jon is a big believer that "victory requires vulnerability." He is 100% about taking action and encourages his clients to be bold, brave, and courageous in chasing their dreams and being true to themselves.
When not coaching his clients or travelling throughout the country for speaking engagements, Jon can be found at home seeking ways to be of service to his community, and engaging in various real estate developments throughout the state of Texas.
